I wish Frozen Orb would be back from vanilla LoD, its Sorc's icon and her most amazing spell (except Blizzard ofc). It would be back but with different element, for example Burning Orb or so and replace that useless Pyroblast, there's alrdy 5x better Flamefront.

Seeing how many skill trees there are, I might spend more time theorycrafting a build than actually playing it.

Well... it depends how it works. MXL has moved over time to be very prescriptive by saying that if you have any points in one tree, it disallows any points in a number of other trees.


So you end up with a "build" being just the 5-6 skills in a tree that sort of "identifies" the build, like the bow tree for amazon and then you have a support tree you can use for any build plus the reward skills.

It means builds are very standardised - I liked it better when people could come up with offbeat builds and clever ways to use MOs, but a lot of the old MOs have gone now too (like skeletons).

I suspect the 8 trees is probably about the same as before - there used to be 3 trees per page on the 2 main skills pages plus a reward skills page, now they probably have one page for each tree plus reward, maybe some extra support skills maybe for the last one. I just hope they allow more mixing and matching cross-tree.
