no , that section includes skills from skill trees , a mix of regular skills from skill trees + oskills

the section i was talking about was only about oskills . outdated or not .

edit: is there any possibility to get this in the guide section ? its a nice little write up im talking to you Suchbalance since i know you handle the guide forum :D

thx shnurr214. glad you appreciate the guide.

yea, idk. suchbalance told me to put it here for some reason. so w/e. i'm not one to argue. so long as it helps the new guys, it's met the goal i made it for.

@Xplosize: wow, that's way too much math for me...glad quirinus fielded a response for you. i wouldn't have been much help...lols

@Chrysamere: chuck is right. it's probably better to check the guides for that info. even good oskills need a good build to synergize with so it's probably better to look for builds than oskills, themselves. and most of them do seem like crap....not too mention that i don't have much experience in using most of the oskills, as well. that being said, it might not be a bad thing to add some notes on a few notable oskills. I could even link to the build guides that use them.

I also gotta add pics to this thing.....*sigh*...i'll get to it eventually.....

@unclegrimjerk: good point. i'll add it in to the guide later.

What item level viewer are you using? I did a search but most of them looked a little sketchy.

Iirc, you can only view item lvl on items with Plugy (SP only as it does not work online). Any 3rd party tool that can do so (if there is any) is prohibited on TSW.

Hated k3k= ilvl 60 (needed for +skills in rings/amus)
Hatred a5= ilvl 60+
Drops in hatred go up to T3, so even in places like dunc where ilvl is 99 you wont get sacreds.

A2 terror = ilvl 78+. (dont know exact number). Sacreds start to drop here.
A3 terror = Probably ilvl 90+, dont know if it hits 99.
A4 terror, terror ubers = ilvl 99.

Anywhere in dest = ilvl 99.

Should add this in the main post.

Thanks this is really helpful!

And thanks for the original walkthrough. There's a steep learning curve on the game mechanics, and explanations like this are appreciated!

One other question. From reading the documentation it sounds like if I were trying to get the ring of light oskill, I could find a magic pally shield in A4 terror, enhance it to a rare, then keep using renewal pots until the right oskill comes up. Because after the cube recipe the maximum ilvl possible would be 99, so as long as the qlvl was high enough, it wouldn't matter? Or am I totally off base?

Upgrading from magic to rare does lower the ilvl by 15% (docs: ''The item level of the transmuted rare item will be reduced by 15%, rounded down and capped at 1 and 99.'')In that case ilvl 99 goes to 84 and you'll have to use alvl calculator to find the alvl of the item and if it is 72+ THEN you can reroll it.

But in short, yes.

A rare paladin shield that drops in A4 terror is ilvl 99, and you can reroll it as many times as you want with oils of renewal/shrines and it will be ilvl 99.

Obviously, this is in SP (so realm players you can't do this for obvious reasons lul).
