In TA the amazon warriors are very smartly programmed because of how they react E.G. when there is a lot of them they huddle together and attack as normal, but as soon as they are shortened down to a few, they start to run back and they lure you into another pack which then can sometimes kill you; like with the bossses, if you are trying to follow to kill her you might just get grabbed into a giant pack of hardliners and amazon warriors. I think that is a really cool feature but also annoying, I know its in different things too like with flits and stuff but i mostly recognise it in TA

Favorite uber: Unformed Land, good farming place even when it doesn't have a charm (counting hidden fortress as a separate uber due to charm drop and zorun tzin dark summon) and makes you play carefully instead of charging in there, otherwise you get raped by tri ele and magic/phys dmg

I've found triune to be very manageable with the teleport field if you stay about a screen away. sometimes itll still get you, but if you p2 the boss (one person to have a better charm skill like dominate rather than the book charm, instantly charming again when it wears off, while the other person is something ranged and wide aoe like apoc pala or stormzon or something to clear the bats). Plus the dominate 20 sec charm or regular charm oskill (10sec) lets you recover if you hit the tele field and still have a moment to find arihan again and prepare to re-charm him.

My problem being with the triune is the amount of potential hidden temple spires and the fact that primus messenger can fuck up your positioning on arihan, plus his deathbats do punisher poison damage that drains your hp as well as his burn if it hits you. Takes longer depending on the character as well, resulting in a high amount of frustration.

1 hits have always been the most irritating thing. Not for the fact of whether or not they are telegraphed, but they are 99% impossible to gear check, except in rare cases with barbarians. It would be nice to eventually grow enough in power to survive these abilities, be it with charms only or other methods. Have it be like a case similar to the arrowsider proc in TA is a start, thought granted the desyncing arrows are.... left to be desired :(

Qouv Tsin is quite overlooked. Literally the hardest part about this boss is clearing Stony Tomb if you first enter destruction. He gives quite a powerful charm, for a boss that can literally never kill you once you have stacked enough resistances. He could use quite the repainting.

Bull Prince Rodeo is fun fighting outside of the wall cheese, but it would be nice seeing him get a replaced ability for stampede to change the pace of the fight. Having the walls completely negate one of his abilities means that he doesn't have an ability at that point.

Triune farming for cycle is a nice ulta endgame place to farm, Sewers is a nice place to farm early and I love em both for that. Triune's boss though is left to be desired. Having to control finicky AI, being obnoxiously teleported around when I had perfect placement. And to top it all off, completely forgetting I had to re-equip the charm every death made me waste so much time. Half my own stupidity, half salt.

Laz is very fun to fight, and has quite the skillcap on it to boot in order to do it deathless (note: have not done so yet). The avoid tacked onto him is no so much. Laz is a positional punishing fight, one mis-step and your dead. Suddenly missing a purify because of a diceroll immediately kills the fight's enjoyment. Just having more HP would of done it really.

Thats all I can think about right now. Theres probably more but candy calls me...

Lack of ability to gear check is bad, but gear check is bad too?

No, Qouv Tsin can literally deal 0 damage to you. Barely surviving from abilities like arrowside is another matter. The point I was trying to make was that the numbers you can stack up completely trivialize him, and with it one of the most strongest charms in the game. It's caused by the large amount of stackable resistances, max res, mdr(from items like TU belt) and pdr that can be stacked by honorifics and gems. It goes back to the Mystic Orb discussion awhile ago basically.

I brought up arrowside from TA because it's a very lethal ability. You can survive it with just enough HP and DR out of the box, but you can nullify it even more with 100% to remove it's crushing blow effect entirely. You still get damaged and killed by it of course, but it requires such a high investment

What I'm trying to say is that gear checking is good, but Qouv Tsin is a little blemish that has too many opportunities to stack an immunity to him that was oversighted. In this case it's just a matter of tweaking items and MOs and he'll be much harder all of a sudden and more worthy of that charm he has. The difference between still being damaged, and completely immune are two different things.

Maybe if his damage types worked like a heroic shield kinda? Sometimes it only does a little because of high resistances, but sometimes it could switch to physical damage and require you to have high defense as well?

I dunno. Been a long day. Trying to force thoughts.

So randomly shifting spell damage? And don't worry, my mind is all over the place too. Playing Diablo, watching horror movies, eating and distributing candy, and forums :D

I actually dont mind triune, I love the mechanic behind it even if it gets slightly annoying at times.
One thing that I really disslike about ubers in general is that some chars gets punished too hard, specially if they are melee. Collecting all the parts for the void ring as barb was aids, doing astro as barb was also a bit annoying as you need endgame gear to do it while some chars can do it with tu's. I am fully aware that you have to opimize a lot in median but still. Mnx and uldy same thing. Also what I absolutely hate most about this game is that some ubers basically has to be cheesed.

I'll also add that I love void as an uberquest, the idea behind it is amazing and the final boss fight is hard enough and I like that it cant be rushed, just like triune.
(Same reason I like yshari)

I hate in Fauzt when 1 necrobot wrecks me, and at the same time I am able to tank 50 of them. dafaque

I love how big fat pack of mobs perish feelsgoodman and when my screen disappears from procs.

I love Vizjun and the constant proc fest, what I don't like is when you get into a wild pack of bombs :D even tho they appear further from you.

I love boosting cow levels with java... everything just disappears offscreen.
