i thought about adding resists but it was not really worth it. All mundane mobs in destr r like 100resist to the element they r immune to and have no resist for rest elements, and knowing exact resist doesn't really give any constructive information to help u fight a boss or mob.

basically wanted to know if the elementals in sewers have any resists, if i need to add more -res or im good with -100

If you're gonna use monster gifs you should REALLY consider breaking things up with spoiler tags so it's not a nightmare to load the page.

I think u r good with - 100, they have the basic resistant only i think.

Afaik, a spoiler does not stop a pic from loading, the pic loads even if its inside spoiler. And yeah, i m extracting gifs everyday, soon i will have all and will start posting them here.

I thinnk he meant the exact opposite: to find a way to not load the gifs unless explicitly requested or, if that's not possible, remove them.
IMHO they should be removed, they're a bandwidth hog with no warning. That's especially bad on mobile data.

Well dude, a bestiary suppose to show what monsters look like and not just full of text, cant do anything about it if there r 2k+ monsters and 2.5k images for this game.
Besides, i m gonna replace them all with gifs and gifs r like 60%-70% of kb size(on avrg, some r wayyy lighter) as compared to the size of these still images so the thread will be a bit lighter but it will still be a little heavy, no fix for that.

Yes, images are important for a bestiary, but either replace them with links or find another way to load them on demand.
Embedding 40 - 50 Mb of images in a forum post is irresponsible IMHO.

By the way, this is not in any way a critique of your work, which I find invaluable especially for new players.

Edit: As a fast and easy middle ground I propose to at least put a warning in the thread title. Something along the lines of " :!:

BIG DOC - MXLU Bestiary (ALL Acts Finished)"

By the way, where do you get the figure that animated gifs are 30 - 40% smaller than pngs?

Yeah i was thinking something like that, to edit the title and write something, cool cool.

And i dont think links to the images are good, what if someone wanna know all monsters of yshari?(there r 38 monsters in it) or even kabraxis? (it have 19 monsters), it would be a pain to open each link to see what that monster is since pic is basically how a new player will recognise what monster they r reading about

I would dream of a monster tag implementation like items tag, but that thing is maybe 2-3 years away since a million other higher priority things r getting worked on.
