I can run those numbers for you. Does Xbow Necro get any skill-based IAS boosts (like from Morphs or minions or something)?

Edit:
Well FWIW, here are Xbow Necro IAS BPs, assuming no skill-based IAS boosts.

Light Crossbow, Crossbow (25 WSM):
3/6/11/18/24/32/44/60/83/117/174/292 (9 fpa)

Needle Crossbow, Dart Thrower (30 WSM):
4/8/11/18/24/32/40/54/72/99/138/208/360 (9 fpa)

Heavy Crossbow, Repeating Crossbow, Trebuchet (35 WSM):
3/6/9/14/18/24/32/40/50/65/86/117/163/250/456 (9 fpa)

Stinger Crossbow (40 WSM):
3/6/8/11/15/20/24/32/40/50/60/78/102/138/194/304/600 (9 fpa)

Awesome ty! i wonder is it worth getting to 250 IAS for trebuchet compared to 163
Or going with Needle or Dart to get to 360 ias.

Thought I read a few days ago that Stinger was better than Trebuchet in the long run. Something about better average damage since IAS is easy to get with Charms, jewels, etc. But either one is probably fine. I'm no expert on xbow nec so don't quote me on it. :)

It sucks, that's what going on, same thing with Khalimgrad and Rathma's Square. If you have bad luck they become seriously tedious.

Easy to get? You get 45 ias from the charms iirc, where do you easily get the rest 200-300? :)
Xnec used to be my favourite starter char but on 2017 it's just so freaking slow since he doesn't have ANY skill that would boost his speed. Skill based boosts would propably be too op but even something passive could help, maybe on Nightwalker.

@Void
If you use Tantrum, do you use summons to hold him in place, then run up and hit him with Tantrum, or do you let him chase you around the stage and throw down Tantrums as you run?

how you counter baals attacks pls?

i let him chase me, but for the first hit i place a tantrum on the floor and then weapon switch to

Runeword Level: 75

Slow Target 20%
Regenerate Mana +15%
Cold Resist +40%
Physical Damage Reduced by (11 to 15)
+(3 to 5) Mana on Striking
2% Reanimate as: Random Monster
to apply slow, which helps a great deal with pinning him down. then i walk from side to side and place 3+ tantrums on the floor and run in circles around him so he gets hit a lot more by it

Do you remember what your chance-to-hit was last time you did it? I have 135k, giving me 85% CtH. SwineFlu recommended 150k+ for Uldy himself, so maybe I just need more AR?

It really does seem like Baal is ridiculously tough compared to the other stages. Seems out of place.

In my playing, I've actually found closer to 35-45% chance to hit Uldy himself is best with a multi hitting skill (tantrum, barrage, fortress, etc) because of how many times something strikes him. If you have 95% chance, he's going to be teleporting all over and it will be much more difficult to land purifies. To each, their own.

No. They're entirely different buffs.

Does Purify's accuracy depend on one's attack rating? Just cleared Duncraig, about half of my purifies didn't do anything to him. Or he could have some chance to avoid.

Melee sorc doesn't have access to a ranged multi hitting skills except for Fusillade, which is bad anyway because of spell timer. Do not forget that Uldy himself has innate avoid without his Sacred Armor spell. Even with 250k AR you will not get 95% chance to hit him iirc. So stacking AR only for 45% chance to hit is a bad decision unless he decided to use Tantrum (or maybe Arrow Swarm).

No, Assur has avoid.
