As always.. If you don't have the pierce to make dragon fire oil and pyroblast effective, then it's not really worth using. Khazra still stands as your best option as Melee Nec because of the dr, %stats, aura, and crushing blow (or deadly strike whatever the affix is)

Rebel armor is not that outstanding honestly, so yes.

Ok so seeing that this thread is really active I'm gonna ask another question. In the "Tempestsucks" guide for light/cold sorc there is a screenshot of the character stats page. Dmgwise both screenshots lie between 70-120 k thunderstone dmg.

I've now reached the point where i have the recommended set endgame gear (elemental sorc set) and the only thing really missing is a crafted belt and 2 slightly better rings. However my damage is between 1.5-2.5 k using forked lightning because I read thunderstone got nerfed.

Was the nerf that humongous or am I missing something? I also have about 9 charms so far and maybe 100 signets consumed.

Also , full light set and only 2.5K forked? im at nearly 7K max , and im just barely at 80ish sigs eaten. Did you socket your gear with Zod crafts with %lsd and ef? Do you have all ez charms by now? post a screenshot of your stats.

How does Doom (and hunter's mark from animal companion) work exactly? Is the physical damage summed to the total before or after EWD?

To be more specific, let's pretend i have 100 phys damage and doom adds another 100. If i use a 50% WDM skill, will I deal 100 damage (50 original + 50 doom) or 150 damage (50 original + 100 doom)? What about physical resistance?

Last question: does life leech benefit from doom (will the extra damage caused by doom be leeched)?
