I stacked 540 all res w/ 90 max and he still pummelled me lol.
Any easy absorb pieces I can find? Haven't come across

Stacked res isn't needed anymore. With 90% F/C/L and 150 flat DR, you should be able to tank his deathbeam. And the CFM should give you all the absorb you need.

Awesome, I had no problem tanking his blast once i added some PDR into my build. For some reason though he keeps one shotting me with a different attack.. Any suggestions for it? It's only when he's close so I can obviously just stay away if that's what it takes.

yes, I am aware that my damage stats are totally low and awful. I just put on pure defensive gear to see if I could tank him as I don't have time to actually fight him right now, gotta sleep

Quov can cast a nova of white projectiles and they always insta kill. They may be difficult to see at first but he casts it from a distance as well so eventually you should see them and know what to avoid.

Is there a specific body armour i should use? Should i craft it with shrines or use a specific runeword?

Largely depends on what type of throw barb. If you're doing a snake stance main, then you'll want SotS. If you're doing kraken, a high pierce roll Natasha armor is optimal. You can also consider Khazra Plate, quiet crafted ancient armor with ~55% vit (with blessing), 2 skills, flat life, and high Ed. Just gotta find what best fits your build. Keep in mind your defense, dr, block (if you chose the block uberskill), and life, along with other factors that will greatly benefit you like deadly strike and crushing blow

Well i'll probably start with a crafted chest then because i dont know when and if i'll manage to reach lv121.
ATM with crappy gear i can reach 130k armour with titan strike and the spirit guide buff; aiming to cap the block chance (right now 23%), using Toraja's Champ shield.

BTW what are you referring to when talking about "Kraken"?
