Maxed pestilence and that armor morph. Gear is rares with high Def/-15% poison pierce, crafted with Shimmering. I had like 300k def can do TA quite easy

If your physical damage is lacking definitely go for Jah. Despite everyone saying to go for 100% CB it is entirely unnecessary- all you need is a healthy chunk. Do not sacrifice too many stats or actual damage for copious CB.

Is there a reason to stack resistances beyond your max resistance or no? I am not understanding this concept.

How is your experience with Median XL going? I'm not even a week into it and I've been having a rough go at it lately. The game itself is very fun and addicting. I enjoy the experience overall, but it's tough to remain confident and not feel discouraged when you die numerous times. My gold always goes back down to 30,000 after I raised it to over 200,000 for the first time.

But I won't give up and I'll keep trying my best. Hopefully I can turn things around. I don't know how people get to level 120 so fast, unless they're gaming with some friends and already know what to do? I guess leveling is super fast once you reach a certain area.

For me though, I'll be surprised if I even reach level 60 or 70 for the first time. I'm struggling at level 55 on my rat Druid. Not sure if I can really advance at the moment.I'm on the second difficulty, not Hated but Terror I think, and in act 1. Just saved Cain but I died a few times getting there.

So, in the new Patch, Bloodbath gives us sins a fraction of the DR from the new BRC skill. This makes using Phase bomb even more of a headache. Is using Bloodbath for the new Bonus even worth it? (Electrofield caster sin)

Well, everyone does things on his own. I personally prefer the following since this is a very easy approach to the game at least in terms of leveling:

Leveling to 18 in act 1 tristram
leveling to 30 in act 2 sewers
leveling to 40-45 in Meph runs (Farming uniques to upgrade gear)
LC 1
leveling to 60 in Baal runs
Ennead Challenge (you get some good exp in K3K as well. Plus you can get lots of Pgems with + max resist, which is needed for many chars. And you can get +1 skill rings and +2 skill amulets here, which help a lot on every character)
Then I go back to Mephisto to farm Arcane crystals i order upgrade all my uniques to T6.
THEN only I start terror.
Leveling to 82-86 in Sewers act 2 terror,
LC 2
Leveling to 90 at Mephisto terror runs
Leveling to 120 either at Baal runs or Tcow runs (act 5 merc basically kills the cows for you with only a rare sword orbed with ED and

. Then you're already done and get another 60 all stats.

At this point you have lots of Vitality, attack rating and %Block chance, plus the additional defense from all that gear, since you're not running around with T2 armor. Plus you have a nice proc from Albrecht's, which adds a lot to damage. And all this at level 60! Then the further you progress, the more points you can actually spend into strength. That way you can slowly exchange Tal runes with Pgems that increase your max resist. Terror should be rather easy until act 5. Then just get to level 120 by farming Baal.

Please note that Tal runes aren't very famous in this forum. This is just my preference, since it makes the game easier. You basically can use all the T6 gear on level 60, which is a huge boost to survivability. Of course you can use other runes that increase your stats as well, like Fal runes (+10 dex) or Shael runes (+10 str). I personally prefer Tal runes though because it gives you at least 3 stats that you actually want to have buffed (for casters: str vit and nrg; for WDM builds str dex and vit) and thus I think those are better than Fal and Shael, but you can use those other runes runes in the last item that you need to get the str or dex requirement. That way the additional +5 str from Tal runes aren't wasted and better used as +10 dex for example.

btw I just recently leveled a craprat up with the stuff mentioned above. I really only had troubles in act 5 with those poison spike monsters, traprats (despite 80k defense) and the flamethrower guys (cause they stunlock and then kill my merc) in the last stages right before Baal, but those are all stationary targets usually and can be easily killed if you attack--> move --> attack --> move

Some more hints: If you struggle with phyiscal damage enemies, use your gold on ED and TCD mystic orbs (best bought in act 5 hatred due to lower cost after doing the quests. Usually mystic orbs cost up to 30% less there.) If your resist aren't maxed, buy +10% resist and mo your rings and amulets until you get the max resist. (At the beginning I usually only go for resist on rings. And those rings are usually those i got in act 1 or act 2 hatred, so they have a very tiny Level requirement --> huge Mo space.
