Nothing wrong with holy melee, can farm dunc/fauzt/toraja and do all but the toughest of charms with crafts/rws only (unless you mean pure holy melee without dragon morph).

Retaliate = 40-50k damage not hard to reach (which goes to 80k with deadly strike)
Merkabah = 80k /s puts most things into hit recovery every second
Path of Flames = 100k /s
Vessel of Retribution = 160k /s
Dragon Oath = 1-2hk many heroic shield bosses

= that's 340k damage per second to everything around you even without retaliate, dragon oath or procs



Yes but if you reread what i wrote all his skills are novas :) retaliate - merkabah - hammerstrike - colloseum which is a whole tree with nothing but novas

Yeah but how's that a problem that needs to be rebalanced? I can understand fixing/replacing hammerstrike (useless vs heroics, making it clearly inferior to retaliate), but that's about it. Merkabah is passive damage of alternate type while also functioning as a defensive buff, and colosseum is completely unique.

Maybe he's saying that since the skills don't have much variety and are all a bit "same-y" Marco could revamp the tree?

Voted - NO, but only if the ubers consist of more than two variations. Otherwise its somewhat pointless.

I do, but I prefer making more complex ones. Most latest maps (triune, void, twin seas) took months to make.

Since people began memorizing the paths of Yshari? lol. I understand your point since I can reach him within 5 minutes as well; but, isnt that the point of becoming a vet. player? Learn maps, monsters, etc.


I will add that a new Yshari map would definitely spice some interest in the boss...but does Yshari really need more spice? I mean you already have to run it multiple times for the set pieces alone, and its one of the most powerful charms in the game (in my opinion); plus its probably one of the most fun boss fights I've ever done. (ben, Jun, and I use to always love doing this boss). Not saying it isnt needed; but I just feel marco has many other things he could address than waste time changing yshari when its not a dull uber...Also dont even know if its possible. IICR Yshari monsters were each placed INDIVIDUALLY, which means it isnt randomly generated whatsoever; and if it took marco months to make (triune, void, twin seas); it would take him a year to change yshari due to its size and I guess the thousands of individual monster placements...



If any maps could use some changing it would probably be:
1. Vizjun being randomly placed somewhere
2. Rathma spirit trance herb map; possibly make it where you cant just run to him. Meaning, make it bigger to increase difficulty...can you find and defeat rathma while fighting his minions before they respawn and take over and overwhelm you?
3. fix Horazon not being able to shoot off his walkable space...You can easily just case a few ederyms or reanimates and theyll trap him in a corner...afk kill from there. This would fix that possible cheese method; and also if he can make horazon priority attack the player instead of minions first.
4. the uber that drops a million gold...forgot the name...Sorry starcraft 2 interfering with my median knowledge
5. Toraja, or let lilith spawn in different spots so you kind of have to find her.
6.Tran Athulua if he can only modify destruction maps. Need kind of the basic map for noob players to do their lvl challenge 1 and BRC.
7. Ive always said that Fautz need some sort of like Nuke attack (similar to vizjun) so you cant stay in one place too long; but this prob wont ever happen.

Ill add more when I get time, changing out a sink and the woman just got here...

I have an rad idea!! What if the other map could only spawn if your really lucky. Then the place is a whole other place with other reward? But harder! Much much harder! Is that possible?? I was thinking of like an even more evil place then fauzt. Think of fauzt but with other mobs and other rewards! Could be cool, just an idea! Don't know if its possible even.
