Only normal items could potentially get maximum number of sockets from this quest https://diablo2.diablowiki.net/Sockets.

I'm not sure if you were trying to deny what he said in his message, because he is right that Larzuk can change an Ethereal item that has 0 sockets to maximum sockets. At least that just happened for me when trying. You were probably just saying that not ANY Ethereal items, just normal ones get max sockets.

New to the mod, community and forums!
Im rly enjoying it so far but i do have some questions that i´ve tried to find answers to but haven't rly succeeded..
#1 How do i use the "scroll of resistance" from the Anya quest?
If i understand correctly i need to cube it with a sunstone but where the hell do i find that?
#2 Challanges... If i missed these cuz of my knowledge of the game.. does that mean that i have to create a new char to get those bonuses?
Since it seems that it has a lvl cap according to "https://diablo.gamepedia.com/Challenges_(Median_XL)"
If so it seems a bit... dumb since im lvl 97 atm and dont rly feel like starting over when im finally getting closer to hell difficulty.

OK, so what i am missing in fight with QT?
I have > 400 res (except poison), 83/81/81/82 on char screen, % absorbs, flat PDR and still die in ~1 second from his beam (not even bone spirits)

Need to get magic resistance somehow or what?

I read somewhere that you need 150 flat damagereduce but i still haven‘t found out which items are good, means i also struggle to kill him.
Dying wouldnt even be that bad if he wouldnt heal every death of me.

I have more than 150 flat damage reduce, as visible in my stats window (can be easily done with rings/ammy @140 if good roll + other items).
I do not understand what kind of damage i take, avoiding bone spears all time is ok, but beam hits 2 screens away and still kills, need to lift resists up to 500 or what?

Ignore all the skill speeds. They don't exist in the mod any more, everything is item speed no matter the source.

What makes you think so, can you give me the source?

Patch notes under movement speed

• Skill speeds have been removed, all player skills will now modify item equivalents (adjusted accordingly)
  
  • Skill speeds often confused players and caused inordinate character speeds endgame, both of which were undesirable

And (seemingly) all speeds now show up as item speeds in D2Stats.
