Well, it's like this because he wants it to be like this, and for good reasons imho.

It is possible to make realm obly stuff work with singleplayer, its just a matter of knowing about computer^^

XVr patch features were done directly into server patch, SP patch doesn't even know these features exist so it's not really possible to enable something that isn't there.

If you're talking about editor-generated item replicas, like Storm Blade - you might as well want to create a hacked superbeast CotW and double the fun.

No. % Absorb acts like a "second resistance" that stacks multiplicatively with the normal ones.

Example: 90% fire res and 40% fire absorb. You get hit by 100 fire damage. Resistance reduces it to 10. Then the absorb heals you for 4 and then it reduces the damage by 4. So you end up taking 6 fire damage and healing for 4.
