Yes it inherits most things - damage, procs, resists, auras, socket bonuses etc. It can't use oSkills, for example. Google vanilla iron golem mechanics - they are unchanged here.

Can spawn on Barbarian Axes only, needs to be a high ilvl weapon too.

Questions:
1. Should I hang onto Magic Jewels? Should I just hide Magic Jewels? What about Rare Jewels?
2. Should I hang onto Rare Rings & Amulets for Shrining?
3. I only pick up level 100+ Runes, Should I hang onto those?
4. I have a stockpile of Set & SU. Should I try trading or just keep hoarding them?
5. Should I be shrining S.rare items??

I already have one mule with a ton of P.Gems & Runes... Why am I doing this to myself?

would say, depends on what you want to create with...
some magic jewels are usefull and easy to get allot of them, check them on the fly, drop the garbage by klick out of the inventory....depends on the recipes, crafts, runeword roles you want to make with....

Lam Esen's tome.

I joined a game by mistake and just as I entered I got a message saying I'd made progeress in a quest. Quest Log said Lam Esen's tome is completed, but I was nowhere near the place to do the quest and I never got the book.

I made my way up to the place (Ruined Temple) but there was no book. What can I do?

I am trying an iron golem build, have some questions, would be great if someone can answer:
1/What is the level of the Iron golem to used for "based on character level" affix (hard level/soft level or equal to main character level?)
2/Does it have Strength, Dexterity or Energy? If yes, how much?
3/What does "uneffected by minion resistance mean" exactly. Like: at level 5, with 100% minion resist from items, will it has: 0 resistance, or 75% resistance
