. more points = more targets for the charged strike . get it from both sources . it's your best bet imo

the rings may spawn with wyrd if you need any ranged approaches , but it's only usefull vs small packs / single targets + it has a short timer

rock shock on rings and whirlpool on boots are also around there , but they are far from what charged strike can provide

that's about it

a 1-pointer earthquake is also good to go with and only needs to invest 1 skill point to get it, why would you not use any of the main skills in the trees ?


I am actually considering earthquake, I especially like that it adds magic damage to the mix. I was also considering Bloodhatred as I havent played a build with it before and am somewhat interested in seeing how useful it's healing component is but the skill just seems boring to me (no fancy sprites/animation). I've made use of Charged Strike before, I know the initial melee would hit with full damage from weapon, kraken elemental damage and bolts but the bolts themselves I do not think carry the elemental damage from kraken stance and would only hit for strictly light damage. I know it is still a very high damage attack but I just don't like that it won't be making full use of all my damage sources.

Other Oskills I was thinking about are Spin to Win (I like the idea of this alot). Claw Tornado (unsure if the elemental damage from kraken stance is only dealt on the initial melee or if it carries into the tornado's). Thorns Field or Ravage but with these I'm not sure if I would also need Feral Strike or if they are even usable without being morphed. Those of course are all if I go a COTW rout...

I dont get how terror strike works now. When i buff with grim presence, terror strike dont works (def and dmg wont go up) and when i first buff with terror strike then buff with grim presence, the terror strike seems to be infinitly long (not 11 sec like the tooltip says)

Hey guys, i just downloaded median xl and it runs fine, my problem is when i try to get it into the plugy it will not laod the game. any suggestions?

noob question.. % increase of fire/cold/lightning/poison/magic spell damage affects also melee attacks which use a skill (no normal attacks)? or the bonus is just for casters?

it depends on the type of the skill , but usualy , yes

for a melee sorc, whats your guys opinion on adding enhanced damage Mos before making a shark(xis) rune word instead of adding ewd or ds after making it. i have a 55ed/129ar base . at lvl 136 i could add 4 ed MOs for 60% . could that be better than ewd/ds ?

also, is inarius rock worth it for the time strike ?

Generally it's best to MO with %ED before making a runeword, cause you can go over 200% ED by doing this, just be aware that the +req lvl from MOs will appear on the item and add to the runewords req lvl (120 in this case), so be sure you can still equip it before deciding what to MO, cause for ex 5 MOs would make +20 req lvl and so you need to be 140 to use it.

Unsure about the jewel, i'd try some runs with in another piece of gear and if the proc is noticeable then decide to put it in the runeword.

Are sets more useful as a stepping stone into getting shrines and sacreds before running Duncraig or are they viable later? Trying to determine what I should prioritize in my farming :D
