I understand runewords being kinda weak on their own since you can craft great jewels and superior quality + lucky recipe before socketing them, but why the flying f*** are most sacred uniques so bad? For example, druid bows are extremely underwhelming. Azgar's mark used to be amazing. I remember it had something like 50% arrow on striking if I'm not mistaken. Even the damage is extremely bad for some reason. 50-100 flat and 170% enh damage? So I need to spend the little space for MOs for 2 enh damage MOs just to hit the cap?

Am I wrong here guys? I always end up crafting something decent for my characters that is always better than sacred uniques with small exceptions (meshif's iron parrot's storm crow effect is convenient and it also has magic find, but I swap for a crafted dagger for bosses). For example, I have a 13% deadly strike 580 max damage bow on my amazon that's significantly better than most SU bows, exception being the rapid wyrmshot bow for farming purpose and a near perfect rolled etrayu probably.

Eh not really, but to have good 2% stats on life and mana plus the 2% dexterity... the total package makes it rare.

Can anyone explain this?
Also one more thing,I've tried crafting necro shield which is suposed to be able to roll % phys res, yet after 20 shrines i haven't seen it one.I usually see it often on normal shield so I don't think its me getting unlucky.

Not sure about your main question but regarding Necro Shields being able to roll % phys res, I don't think that's correct. Here's a link to the affixes page and if you filter by Necromancer Shields the only thing physical that can roll is Physical/Magic Spell Damage.

Same thing happened to a pair of Ginfaxi boots I made, seems to be a bug with the sigil of absolution and its interaction with runewords. I posted about it in the bug report topic, I'd recommend you do the same

If you filter for necro shields, then it will show mods that can roll on necro shields IN ADDITION to regular shields. Check Shield mods too, those can spawn on any shield, class specific or not.
