Everything on the TSW server is available for singleplayer except for items dropping from the very last endgame uber Samael. He still drops his charm.
It is possible to transfer an online character to singleplayer, there is a thread where you can do that in exchange for TG.

Yeah, it's something that has already been noted for a while, could be a problem with the site. There are quite a few players streaming the mod and current ones can be seen in the MXL Discord server where the twitch feed still works.

There are almost no sources of magic resistance, so it's not something that you can do much about. Typically you just don't worry about it much.
