if i use a standard sword for example, that deals physical damage... i calculate the damage of ancient's hand based on the damage in the sword, then i add 100-120 fire damage? or fire damage is calculated as part if weapon damage?
if i use mystic orbs that enhance the weapon damage? do they work with elemental weapons? and are increasing the damage dealt by ancient's hand, deathgaze, etc.?

I think this is how it work:
((Weapon Damage + Added Physical) * (%EWD + Str/Dex scaling )) * %Total Damage + (Added Elemental/Magic) + (Poison * Poison Duration)
Elemental/Magic only scaled by pierce/resist reduction, and spell damage on spells.
That's probably why flat elemental damage has very high numbers where physical only have pitiful 10-20-ish
