In addition to making your def=0 essentially, does running also make your dodge/avoid chance 0?

there are 3 types of avoid.

dodge, evade, and avoid? I think? i dont remember specifics, but i think one is effective when standing still, one is while moving, and avoid covers both?

in this case, is "chance to avoid damage" on items the same as the one from perfect being ?

It's a common misconception, running doesn't make your defense equal to zero, it's actually worse than having zero or even negative AC. The thing you need to understand is that whole equation which involves AC, AR and level difference is completely ignored while you're running. Your chance of getting hit could not be greater than 95% if you're standing still (or attacking) which is not the case for running animation. I'm talking about this particular equation:

Code: Select all

ChanceToHit = {100 * SrcAR / (SrcAR + TargAC)} * {2 * SrcLvl / (SrcLvl + TargLvl)}, 5 <= ChanceToHit <= 95

And answering your question, running animation doesn't affect Dodge/Avoid/Evade (or Weapon Block) chance, although it does affect your block chance, it's effectively 1/3 from its actual value while you're running.

Dodge works for melee attacks while standing still (attacking), Avoid works for ranged attacks while standing still (attacking), Evade works for both melee and ranged attacks while walking/running. Apart from some exceptions (Immortal ennead challenge skill from top of my head), MXL Evasion usually implies all three of them within the same stat, e.g. Perfect Being, Warp Armor, etc.

Werewolf Druid - Is it possible to build a melee woof, without harbinger as the focus?

Like a high single target dps bosser, twisted claw and mana pulse as the mains, or an Oskill?
Is there a valid aoe melee Oskill, that I can get my hands on in single player?

Can only see the guide for harbinger tele spam build, and its pretty meh so far, yeah its fast and kinda strong for farming but..
Its headache inducing for me to teleport constantly like that, and it seems like its the only way to go for werewolf?
