Hi, when you make a TU armor from scratch with the cube recipe, is base defense taken from the original base item, or is it randomized alongside all the TU affixes ? (Within the item defense range of course).

Each unique is made from it's own base type and the quality of that type of base doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is any (if any) enhanced defense/damage rolls on the unique itself. The base has its own base defense but it doesn't double roll (base defense and then unique defense roll on top of it). Each unique will have it's own roll range and that's the only thing you should care about.

i want to make a new build for paladin based on razorspine. So my question is - does faster hit recovery important with spikenova procs when you take damage. What does damage values for spikenova. Does spikenova hits when you get bashed (stun), from my experience when you under hit recovery animation or stuned your weapon damge skills wold miss in 99% cases

This question won't be relevant for most people here since they don't play non-ladder but I'm curious if anyone knows what happens to the Henchmen Trophies gear that already exist in Ladder and will become non-ladder? Specifically on the level-requirements. They are getting their level requirements reduced by 10 and I'm wondering if the existing ones will drop by 10 or if they will stay the same and it's only the new ones that benefit from the reduced requirement.

So, for example do you think this one that currently has a level requirement of 150 will drop to 140 after the reset tomorrow?
