Found the video. It's from XIV but I don't think there's been any balance changes to brachy since then and the sorc changes don't matter much for this. The beginning goes over my gear (to include resists, I have something like 630%+ in both poison and fire) and the three levels. The actual fight starts at 4:18 in. Also the immortal ghost maggots are immortal. As in can't be killed. So you either figure out some way to ignore them or you lure them away (which then lets you ignore them).

Magic resistant AND stone skin. You tortured yourself by killing him. If he spawns with stupid stats just make a new game.

I tried for full res in maggot form, it doesn't work. Maggot form sets your resist for fire to -255 regardless of your stats. Part of the reason I have 630 is because I'm using my resist gloves+boots which are 155% resist/all (each) before gems. Throw in the +max resist gems and all my charms, and there you have it. Plus I wanted to be safe

How much CB% does elfin weapons give at +9

With the immortal maggots, why lure them?

They follow even if I teleport to other sides.

I personally didn't lure them, but iirc I had something like 500k armor when fully buffed during that fight so I could just ignore them.

Well, now I can survive the boss.

Took me 10 minutes to do like.. 5% of his hp?

This is too frustrating. I don't even know where this boss is ranked in uberquests. if he's low on the ladder I may as well stop playing.

He drops resistances rather seldom. 1 hit should do at least 1/5 damage or else it takes ages. Do you have 200% elemental pierce?
