Your sentence has logic, though don't forget that you can remove phys immunity with such skills as Bane, Colosseum and with Amplify Damage curse/Mega Impact modifier. In that case, %ED vs necrobots will have sense.

Thanks for the clear and prompt replies both. That helps clear it up. Cos I previously saw someone post on the shoutbox that the klaatu affix applies to all kinds of damage - elemental, poison, magic etc. I was not sure about that, so good to know!
