and I wasn't impressed by spell dmg boost (It has low chance that both procs work at the same time).

I woudn't use too as it has only mele procs (I prefer ranged attacks). I found good boost from

ring (Burning Veil on kill). It increases my quill dmg from 25k to 40k. And this is very cheap ring! Also in process to make Shark Xis weapon for bloodlust on kill and others cookies.


thanks for idea about the ring. what does burning veil look like and how is the damage?

if you got no other source of bloodlust /MOTW/other damage boost and your CB is not decent enough , then yes , Checkmate is ok untill you can find better gear .

It's the same as Necromancers innate skill. A wall of fire that you must walk through to get the bonus dmg.

thanks. i thought it was a damaging wall of fire with duration.

help! my left click skill has locked on a skill (shadow refuge) and when i switch to throw for broadside, i have to press f5 (which i assigned to) for it. i already checked my keyboard and its still working fine, no stuck buttons.

This is the Innate skill of necromancer, you can check it yourself. But ring has 50 lvl of this spell. In fact it looks like wall of fire after monster's kill. If you pass through it your spell dmg will be increased.

in this case the LCS thinks that the spell damage you get from burning veil applies to the passive elemental damage from Qor weapon, but in fact it does not. it only applies to your direct melee swing, therefore as a traprat you only get EWD from it, and spell damage for your elemental procs if you have any


By the way. I have Pentagram on kill from
Goatlord
procs. It should get real boost from burning veil. This proc allows me cleam Dcow on 8 players game in TSW.

Okay hang on:
Reward
Killing the dragon gives you essentially an unlimited Chaos Reroll recipe for 30 seconds. This recipe will turn the item into a new item of the same type, which could be cracked, magical, unique or anything in between.
Any item + identify scroll → reroll item randomly + identify scroll

That doesn't sound like what I'm after at all, I'm hoping that if I upgrade a unique to tier 6 and get shafted on the stats ((+2 to +4) for skill levels getting rolled as +2, for example), that I can get a second or 3rd try at +4 skills without having to disenchant another 25 uniques for the opportunity. Or is only only option to do the dragon egg, cube like mad and pray for it to be a tier 6 unique on one of the rolls?

if you want a good tu6 reroll, you just have to keep using the "unique creation recipe" i.e. 2 crystals + oil until it rolls the desired stats

or use the chaos reroll dragon and keep rolling until your t6 item ends up being unique with the desired stats

NO. Get new item for recipe and desenchant the bad one - save one shard.
