Any tips for getting hivemind? I have read that duncraig is good for sacred Uniques, but I struggle to get past the front door lol. I'm thinking about getting some set items before dun, but is there anywhere else I should farm continuously?

Certain spells CAN break lightning immunities. These are Mythal, Starfire, Phase Bomb.

My main question is how high can you increase max resistance? Some of the gems increase max resistance. Amber, Bloodstone, Onyx, and Turquoise. Are there any more ways? How high can you go? How important is it to go above 75?

some items also grant + max resistances too . more resistances = less damage taken . so it's obvious to want to reach high as you can till the 95% resist cap

Highly depends on a class/build you play. I assume you are playing a caster or summoner as you use so many honorifics, so IMO no, it's not worth it.

if you play a build that needs high resistances to survive and you can spare an item or 2 (usually gloves / boots) to mo with resistances (honorific) , then yes , a higher tier with perfect gems inside would go better + some other perfect gems in the other sockets to boost the resistances even more .

when your build starts to need more than just resistances to advance trough the game with no pain , you have to replace the perfect gems with (crafted) jewels that boost the stats you need the most , and equip 1 or 2 items that provide 5% (or more) to all max resist to make up for those pgems you skip .
