I hear it breaks enemy resistance, but there are other spells that do that and you can mitigate immunes with other damage types.
Why is starfire a 2% ctc on meele attack... what does it do??? I tried looking it up in docs and i found it but description is a joke.. wtf is kot? why does internal name contain innate when there's no other spell name similar to it?
at the moment it's only 2% to prevent people from cheesing such fights with that skill (proc) . even if it was 5% , it would have still been very strong , because many builds have very fast attacks , and would have proc a lot of it + there are dual wielders that may equip 2x such weapons for a double chance to proc .
documents -> faq's -> lfaq -> search for "starfire"
you can combine it with a 2% ctc mythal on attack from rare amulet , if you really want a higher chance to break elemental immunities with a weapon damage buildYou can also find Bane on a few items to use with physical damage builds , or bear stance to ignore the physical immunities of the undead (k3kba skeletons can be killed with bear stance on , even if they are still protected by the immunities granted by the totems)
+Void Seekerwith ctc phase bomb . you can use that with a skill that converts 100% of your physical damage to some element . (if you hit phased opponents with physical damage you get f'ked)
from lfaq : " You can use resistance reducing skills (*1) to remove an immunity off an enemy. These skills do however only work at 1/5 effectiveness if the target is immune "
this means that the -40% resistances from Mythal is actualy just -8% resistances vs immunes . trying to cheese fights with such procs will take a lot of time , but if it's the only way ... good luck !
so if i theoretically get -500%res(looks like not possible) i will pierce immune enemies?
no, u can not break enemy immunity even if u have that much -enemy resists, only some spells can do it afaik
