I don't to play this game on the same character agian.

I didn't do the enead challenge before lvl 50. So I basically cried.

Dude, you're missing many things here. Ennead Challenge has to be done at lvl 80 or before. It's LC1 that has to be done at lvl 50 or before.

All this + monster tokens... I suggest you go and read the documentation, otherwise you gotta have more troubles with challenges/ubers ahead. Point your attention at Cube Recipes and Challenges section.

I meant the ED challenge I was level 81 so I couldn't do it. Then I cried about it for a minute

You can get your Class Charm with lvl81 char, give it to lvl 1 same character and let him/her cube it with a jewel.

do you have to be alive for the sunstone to drop off the pirates? Their poison aura kills me but then my death proc kills them. I dont know what the drop chance is but Ive killed 4 and haven't seen one yet.

Why do you ever need to die when doing challenges? Get Act 3 Bloodmage merc, he will solo the level. Just walk (not run!) in circles around him to make him spawn punishers and pyroblasts to the right direction. Just be close to Priestesses when your merc is about to deal the final blow - otherwise you won't get swirlies.

are you supposed to equip them with weapons and gear? It looks like his damage goes down when i give him a sword.

No need to give any items to him at that stage of the game.

Seriously though, what is the best way to equip a bloodmage? Full Community set? What for weapon / shield?
