I was using a french D2 install before I lost my cds. I could log, so I guess something else is causing this problem.

i did dl the d2res from 2011
seems like nothing happens i folowed everything :
Install for patch v1.13c 1. Extract files: Eps1024x768.dll, Eps1024x768.exe and Eps1024x768.mpq to Diablo II directory.
2. Install patch v1.13c to Diablo 2 LoD
3. Make shortcut Eps1024x768.exe
4. Run shortcut Eps1024x768.exe with commandline -v113 (activation res 1024x768 for patch v1.13c)
still ingame max size is 860
anyone know where to get an updated working d2res ? i just changed from windows xp to windows 7 that why my d2 window is small as fuck

Hi,
I was following the guide about the http://forum.median-xl.com/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=304 and the game was wonderful until I got the mid-game. I hit 120 lvl with suggested TU6 gear and somehow managed to get to Baal on Destruction difficulty. The game was impossible to play, I was not able to farm any SU uniques or sets so I updated my gear to suggested mid-game weapon Rusalka RW
and some other 100 lvl RW. My survivability slightly increased, but without expected improvements. I even respec from Curare to Spirit of Venegance to get +25 life and still be able to do some damage. I have all my jewels crafted with Ber rune (+2% life still) and still can survive when I am able to pounce all the time, but as soon as poison or harder monster get me I die. My resist are +75%.
I hired A5 merc, gave him all 100 lvl RW and the sword Urda to get 25% reanimates as necrobots to be able to tank. I managed to do some Khalimgrad runs and get some sets for signets, but I die quickly. I don't know what to do
. Should I respec to bowazon or java? I could respec to Paragon but I am equipped in RWs, so no place for games...
I would appreciate any suggestion that could help do to facilitate my pleasure from playing Median Xl. I am dying constantly and getting kind of rustrated from 'save and exit', new game, die, repeat.

Could you be more specific and show us the gear you're wearing. Also, with what kind of monsters you're having trouble?
High amount of life leech and fast moving/pouncing is essential to survive in some specific areas. How much resist do you have? How many life leech?

Just as I was exiting a game after dropping my nice doom amy on ground to xfer (QQ), I got black screen then disconnected and can't log back in :/
