it says 1.13c in the patch.txt, but it only says 1.13 in the main screen when i open the game. it gives me the same error when i try to make a singleplayer game too

May have found my problem. It says in How To Join: Do *not* install using the official Blizzard installer (use another source). Does this mean I cannot use my diablo 2 discs to install the game? What methods would I go through to do that, get a pirated copy?

It means don't download diablo 2 installer from blizzard website, and don't update the game through battle.net.

Install from physical discs or torrent instead.

u can install from ur discs and then upgrade to 1.13c, but downgrading from 1.14 does not work.

Alright, so i reinstalled everything a few times and it started working, no idea how, just kept reinstalling each peice. Thanks guys!

Question about double negatives on items:

IE: Damage Reduction Decreased by -25%
decreased by a negative %, does that mean damage reduction would be increased by 25%?

It means that you would take 25% more damage.

i think this also bothers Marco but it had some stuff that didnt let him correct the text. Probably will be fixed in Sigma now since all items r getting worked done on them.
