Oh great. I'll read about the class changes from work, unable to play for several hours ;^;

I really want to start with Zon or Druid this season tbh, I usually go zon but went barb first last season and really regretted it hours and hours

I have never joined the forum but I found more people talking this season so I am more excited for this season than most

soo ive been reading about the +999MO ..


for making a tier druid staff say

it seems like i should create unique enhc +2crystals..
then +999 ..
if success .. MO .. and fill sockets ... etc

if making RW item say a battle staff..
make supeior..
then +999...
if success... mo first cause of 350% limit then RW
cause 700% limit or some such,.. but the important thing is to add MOs first then the RW??

and yes i know about re rolling if 999 doesnt suceed etc...


NOw heres where i get lost...2 questions here...

i have TU1 druid staff. NAIAD .KING... that 999 mo worked on ..
now im ready to Uptier it to TU2

how do i uptier it so it gains the imporved tier2 stats and has/ keeps the +999 dble mo effect?
do i cyrstal+rune improved uptier it so its now naiad king TU2 and then +999 mo it ? since its techniclly creating a new item.. ??? if no success .. 2 arcane cystals + roil of enhance.. .. lather rinse repeat?? until success which brings me to my other question....
so say ive uptiered it and the first 999mo attempt with the TU2 item fails....
so now ive goot this TU2 naiad king staff that 999 MO has failed on

when i reroll it 2crystals +enhancment oil.. will it re create as a TU2 naiad king.?
and if so does that carry over..??.. I mean can I take a non tu just plain .... flamen staff (2).. and 2 crystals +oil cube it and get a TU2 naiad king in otherwords does the base quality of the item in terms of tier carry over??


and if ive understood this basically when i uptier my weapon from tu 2 >tu 3 or tu4 or whatever i stop on.. ill basically have a new item that isnt dble MO.. id have to re 999mo.. and if it doesnt work lather rinse repeat with the new higher tier.... 2 crystals + oil.. .. rerolls tu4.. into a new TU4(for example) and then try 999mo again.. etc..
sorry if that was long and confused im trying to synthiesize info from a few diff threads many now dead..

Any type of uptiering an item means rerolling so you will lose your Double MO after upgrading anyways. Also who would try Luck Trial on a Tier 1 item? The attributes are quite low and even Double Orb modifier can't help here if you are going to use the weapon till Destruction difficulty.

The 350% cap applies to enhanced damage/defense and to break the cap you'd want to orb prior to placing the rune in the last socket.


Rolling an item to the next tier requires a crystal and a rune and removes the double orb bonus.
Rolling a tiered unique with two crystals and an oil of enhancement won't up-tier that item, it only re-rolls the stats for that tier and removes any orbs/orb bonus.

You could up-tier the staff by using just a crystal but all it does is increase the required level without improving the stats of the unique itself. So its not worth doing.

it was an example it could jsut as easily be TU3 and then TU6....

if i have a naiad king tu5 ..lets say and i
fail my 999 mo
so i 2 crystal and oil of enchan.... to recreate and try again...
will i end up with a naiad king TU1?? that i have to uptier back to TU5 before trying again..
or will the tu5 +2 cystals and oil of enchant... become a tu (random X)
or dooes it become a naiad king tu5???

i ask this because on an old thread it talks about a axe(5) with 2 crystals and oil.. becomes.. some TU(5)
so i wondered if the (valueX) carries over...

and i never said nor suggested that rerolling would uptier....

as for post just made what is TG/sk1???

tier of the item remains, the quality(broken/superior) does not matter. so a t4 will become a tu4. (same for any other tier except sacred that u cant make unique of)
