Short Questions Thread

I'm having trouble dealing with MacroX boss. Any hints and advice will be very much appreciated.

1. His red magic missles are ok (I guess stacking 70% magic resist will do) - please correct me if I'm wrong.
2. His rainbow-color basketballs are incomprehensible . What kind of damage does basket ball has?
3. His 1 shooter are unavoidable if I stay in 3/4 of the radius - stay in the center and I'm dead for sure.
4. And not to mention that he is a caster so it's hard to identify him among those clones when you have to aim (except when he blinks on you and he shows a mark above his head).
5. Last but not least, I managed to take a potion of his health and he immediately heals up in 1.5s. So I am still unable to figure out how to defeat him yet.

I only have some knowledge for #4. I'm pretty sure the clones die in one hit, or at least have really low life. If you just use stormcall, it should clear them kinda easily. I could be wrong.

As far as #5 is concerned, I know a lot of people will do the TP trick, so they damage him, then go to town. He won't heal himself if you're not in the area, I believe.

I did WItch and Uldyssian with a lot of patient because the fight was long and hard, but I can live with that (because they won't heal so your effort won't go to waste). But as for #5, when I did some damage to him and I died, in my dead screen I saw he heals up. I'm already dead and he still heal.

I wanna say that if he kills you, he begins to heal. But I'd need someone to confirm this for me.

Yeah he have heals himself, u need either very very high single target damage to kill him in as few attacks as possible, or u need something to prevent healing.

Also, i think if u stay at death screen for long, then he starts healing right away, so press esc as soon as u die.

Thanks Rishab, I think that solves the #5 problem - prevent him from healing.

Does anyone has advice on his 1 shooter? Faster runwalk seems not enough although I max Wild and Free. Blink when attacked also doesn't work (I used sssu lightplate, su lightbelt and ssu helm but his attack is much too fast).

Never killed MX-boss . What type of damage you using against him? He always has resist to all or he has heroic shield

Never killed MX-boss . What type of damage you using against him? He always has resist to all or he has heroic shield

Right now I am trying fire damage. He has immunity shield but I believe it randomly drops when he is attacking (pls correct me if I'm wrong).

MNX has Bartuc shield over Heroic shield. He has to damage something in order to be transformed into a normal heroic boss for some time.

Will something like Mythal immediately break resistances then or does he still have to hit something first?

Also, I usually play -ns. Is sound needed to know when he's going to use his one-hit spell at all? Or is it just random?
