I'm not 100% certain on these matters, so please correct me if im wrong.

Spells can trigger: When Slain. (Poison spells can trigger "On Kill")
Melee Attacks: When Slain, On Attack, On Kill, On Striking.
Thrown/Missile attacks (Not spells): When Slain, On Kill, On Striking. (Not sure about Thrown)

Some spells may be able to proc "On Striking" if they use "Weapon Damage", such as Faerie Fire.

As for specific skills triggering from the impact point or the resulting missiles etc, i can't answer that.

Only poison spells can trigger 'on kill' procs (if talking about spells).

Just remembered "On Slain" exists too.

Does spells work with that proc? Never really knew what the difference between than was.
