I seem to die all the time to kingdom of shadows. I get past a hoard of the undead only to rubberband back to the group. This confused me at first, but now I think this is due to the poison (if they hit you) it drags you back or something. From what I've seen there's skills that are required to get past the guys. Luckily though the map is small and easy to remember for the most part.

Questions.
1. What mechanic is actually hitting me here and dragging me back? Is it the poison in the next phase of it's poison damage life?

2. What skill can a paladin use to bypass it like whirlwind?

3. Should I wait until transition and add 20 turqoise gems? Should put me at 120 poison resist.

Stats (if needed):
Offensive stats: Mindflay: 24k-29k (-238% enemy lightning resist - pretend it's -199% as I'm in a rebuild transitioning from runewords to other items). - guessing this is more than enough.

Defensive stats:
Defense: 384k
Chance to block: 8%
Poison resist: 94%

Stats:
Life: 15.6k

Note: Sacred armor doesn't appear to work. It currently last 8 seconds, but can't break poison without teleport.

Any further information can be posted.

1. You need decent poison resist (95% max and 450 flat) to ignore punishers and zombies; decent FHR in order to not being hitlocked when you';re surrounded; preferrably 500k+ defence if you have low FRW.

2.
Demacian Justice
- but it's unreliable - once Spin to Win is not working, you're dead.

3. Yes, perf. turq. gems are nice, but you need to stack 300+ more poison res. (see charms, cycles, main gear).

But all three advices mentioned above are useless if you don't know the map and where to go. Maybe you should do this uber on Hatred difficulty to learn its corridors?

Oh, and use skill-switching to buff yourself with Rapture.

1. At 94% poison resist currently (tainted blood adds 310 poison resistance) / should I max out blessed life and get the 500+ flat?

2. I'll skip that if it's unreliable.

3. As I said earlier tainted blood adds 310% poison resistance. Does this work just fine?

Yes, damage reduction will also help you a lot.

3. Yes.

Thanks. I've tried strategies like this, but never used the main base DR. The map is pretty small and easy to run. I did it on hatred just to make sure the information was still update about two hours ago. Been on this one for 3 and half hours so far plus last night I tried so the map is very easy for the most part.

If this doesn't work I need to find a way to stock pile the defense.

Thanks for the help.

The bridge is the hardest part. You won't come far without blink and TPs.

A turquoise gem runeword helps immensely here - I can be done pretty early actually.

I guess that the easiest way to do it would be to make a necromancer and jump up there. Spin to win/Blink/Divine Apparition help greatly.

Once you enter the bridge cast a TP, go to town, cast SCOURGE, enter TP, blink, TP, Town, SCOURGE, enter TP. Walk as much as possible.

I decided to respec and see if divine apparation moves me forward as I think that may help greatly for now and see what results I get. 10s (Jitans) vs 3s with divine. I think not having to wait an extra 7s in a pack will help me survive.

Do you know who to pm to see if they have time to move it?

It's one of the best one point spell in this game - I don't see why you didn't put point on it for every pal build

I have my odd builds. I have more of a farming build I would say.

Mind flay (main damage - lightning) - 25k-30k
2nd (magic) - 30k-35k
3rd (poison) - 205k-400k
4th (physical) - 6,500

One of my friends just got on we decided to do it together. Got two in fifteen minutes. Was nice not having to run the entire way without dying. Kept getting super close to doing it many times.

Thanks for all the help guys. If anyone sees this use divine apparation and a partner if you can it made it better than trying to do cold plains to boss without dying once.
