slow is nice but no longer that important,

They do. Lion Stance combine with those items give huge boost to physical damage for your party (self+summon+mer).

Thanks. Also, the oil of renewal works like the catalyst now, except you don't need a rune anymore to reroll

Are there any secret items that can drop and are not listed in the game guide?? Like secret mistyc orbs or secret shrines?

Find a okay rare one then MO it till your level?

Yeah making use of MOs on the most useful rares I find is what I have been doing. Can also gamble for rings and amulets now, don't forget!
