Hello, I saw the new trailer and was blown away! I have been a D1 and D2 fan forever but stopped D2 back in 2004 or 2005; Every so so I will load up a single player game. I am looking forward to this new release of Median XL; I have never played an mod for D2; but now is good time as any.
I got my old D2 CD's out and installed fine, Installed Patch 1.13c and then Median Pack, works great, I just tested to level 5 make sure it installed and works before I have to goto work.
Question I have off hand
1. where can you see the changes from D2 vs Median on the website, I didn't look, If no reply I will look when I get home
2. can you can the run speed? I love that you can move faster now, but it's too fast for me, It makes it hard to target the mobs
3. I see there are class build guides I will look at those when I can

A complete list of changes would be too large. The core is generally the same, but the best thing is to just dive in and investigate.
When you are running, your defense is 0. This is why the run speed is faster, so you can walk. So I advise not running at all unless you're using an ability that makes your defense 0, such as the amazon buff.
