WDM poison isn't working as advertised, so either docs are wrong, or there's been a bug somewhere at some point.

WDM / poison duration

1/2 = sum of durations
3/4 = (sum of durations) / (# sources-2 if sources > 3, otherwise no division takes place)
1/1 = (sum of durations) / (# sources-1)
5/4 = (sum of durations) / (# sources-1) // BROKEN
3/2 = (sum of durations) / (# sources if sources > 2, otherwise no division takes place)
result * 2 if -100 res

Let me know if it's false. Can't test every skill in game.

There are numerous hardcoded exceptions to how the duration is calculated based on the skill in question. I suspect the "sum of sources" part might be exclusive only to storm crows and potentially MKV as well due to the clod assassin skills they are based on. (the enemy poison res acting as duration is a given).

Are you timing this length manually? If you could check the length with the same gear in these cases: 1)Shoot a regular arrow from a bow 2) use batstrike nova 3) use wyrd, that would be great.

I'm getting so odd results this would need some work and very specific gear sets + results. It can also be that identical items like 2x xorine don't divide properly or something. Also could be related to the mob used for testing. For example I got lower duration with tslam + 2x xorine + hellmaw vs. blood raven than tslam + 2x xorine vs. tristram rat guardians. Also have to test glide and fps limit before anything else.

From what I'm reading I would expect the following lengths if wots + xorine + xorine are your only poison sources:
(double for -100 enemy psn res)

MKV & storm crows = 2.4 + 7 + 7 = 16.4

Arrow & batstrike nova = (2.4 + 7 + 7)/3 = 5.5

Wyrd ( & maybe mkv goes here instead) = (2.4 + 7 + 7)/2 = 8.2

Splitting this into a separate topic since it's not a median related thing or a bug.

Also I wanted to say, if you are going to run tests run them consistently - don't switch mobs as different enemies can have various different properties which affect the outcome (e.g. psn resistance or psn length reduction). Reducing the sources to two and using items only will also simplify the process.

I don't understand what's mean about duration poison on monsters every i hit them...
Sometimes, monsters didnt lose life when touched by my poison damage... Maybe bugs? idk...
my poison damage deal over 1 million but still bugs when monsters poisoned and didnt lose life... Pretty weird... I had try DLOD Classic one and poison damage work very fine but in mxl u have bugs cause poison damage but why ? i just dont understand

How does -100 enemy pois resistance work? Does it only double the pois duration on enemies, or does it double the duration as well as double the damage over duration i.e. leading to a quadruple damage?

Also, if I have -50 enemy pois resist, does it mean enemy pois resist is increased 50% correspondingly or does it happen only at 100%?

apparently -enemy poison resist only increases duration if it comes from an item, i.e. not from skills

-100% to enemy poison resistance doubles duration and dps.

-50% to enemy poison resistance will 1.5*duration and dps.

Some enemies have more than 0 poison res without being immune, like blood raven (at least according to arreat summit, haven't bothered testing), normal mobs should only have 0 or 100.

Getting max damage out of snake stance + tslam means using 2x long duration poison items (adding third would cause division in duration). You can easily achieve 1hk in fauzt even with low damage snake stance.

Getting max damage out of wots + batstrike means using 1x long duration poison item. Combined with 3/2 wdm, achieving 1hk is easy.

Neon fiends in fauzt have 600k hp (according to shadow blade), so something like snake stance 2.4 + hellmaw 13 + xorine 7 = 44.8s duration.
600k / 44.8 = 13.4k dps required
13.4k / 2 (-res) * 1.33 (3/4 wdm) = ~9k dps required.
9 * 2.4 = 21.6k listed snake stance min damage required, not taking into account physical damage from tslam hit or potential cb.

Poison does have the leash range I mentioned earlier, moving too far away will end the poison effect.

Duration from off-hand doesn't work for dual wielders. Possible exception for sin if normal attack misses and batstrike nova is released from off-hand.

Seems like every duration has to be checked separately as I'm getting deviating results with retaliate compared to barrier strike.
