Hi guys,


Just finished work on a new speed calculator and I need your help bug testing it. If all goes well it will supersede our existing one and give it some much deserved retirement from the next ladder onwards.

Please post any bug reports or suggestions in this topic.






Some advantages of the new calculator:
  • Streamlined interface, simple to use
  • No need to download an executable or runtime
  • Supports Wereform attack speed maths, shapeshifter merc included

Not bugs:
  • Old and new calculators disagree on the values for Amazon 1H swing and Werebear block
  • Old calculator shows the wrong values for Wereform attack speed

It doesn't show the highest frames that requires insane speeds (Although they are quite impossible to reach), i dont know if its intended or not.

Deathlord Morph only has the weapon category for Necromancer daggers instead of all melee weaponry.

Werewolf/werebear attack speed values would be confusing if you don't know what you are doing. Upon selecting, you have IAS and WIAS fields, IAS still defines as D2stats IAS value (all IAS, including weapon), WIAS defines as what you think it would. Wouldn't that double dip or am I the confused one?

UI could use some work. It took me a minute to figure out defensive and offensive were more or less tabs. There is more than enough room on the page, why the need to separate? Three columns instead of two would help make it look a lot more compact (remove need for two tabs, put FHR on the rightmost). Aside from that, all the fields kind of look to have fallen all over the place and could use some tidying up or some form of division between parts instead of just fields on a grey background.

Dropdown boxes and input fields could use a grey background, keeping it line with design on the trade center and whatnot. It's easier to look at and fits the design theme you guys have going a little more.
