holy melee pala?????

How? how do you gear this. retaliate doesn't do any damage. 3 difficulties later it's still only plague doing 90% of the work. no idea how to upgrade gear at level 120. does any1 even pay this garbspec?

I was trying my best to build a holy melee paladin and I'm in the same boat. It just doesn't seem like you can do enough damage compared to any other spec to be worth it.

The game is clearly not balanced and biased toward some specs.

BTW, if you wanna play properly you have to be a godly player to win all the challenges without 'donating' for the trophies/relics.

Unfortunately, if you are like me, who likes to melee without any minions/summons/reanimates/hirelings/converts the game is broken.

It's not possible to sustain your character in high end game.

You can only play end game if you fill your screen with reanimates, summons, hireling and use very high damage to kill the monsters before they kill you.
Tanking does not exist in destruction.

You have to be a character that burps arrows, farts grenades and lasers out of your A** - which makes all end game characters look like clowns with 0 cohesion or theme - but viable.

Take the holy paladin for example : you have magic damage, fire damage, cold damage, poison, physical and can still shapeshift and summon!

@tchacin, 98% of what you said is pretty much just wrong. You don't have to be a godly player at the game to get all the charms. Tanking is 100% possible.

It sounds like you're just a bit frustrated because whatever you're playing as isn't fully prepared for tanking and clear speed to its maximum.
