uptering and shrines

The info on the doc needs to be more clear on describing the crafts ect. would love to see some vids on describing this stuff.
So i am confused on a few things. but here is a few i need help with.

1. Upteir with just arcane crystals it looks like it just ups the str requirements and may be the min and max damage that's it. the uptier does not improve the magic "blue suffix"

when upteir with arcane crystals and a rune, i didnt see any differences. can someone tell me what exactly this does.

2 Shrine Blessing.
the doc says this
"A variant of shrine crafting, this recipe allows you to impart the blessings of the shrine unto an existing sacred item. This adds the shrine modifiers to the item and subtracts 1 charge. You can only use this recipe once per item, so choose your shrine wisely.

Rare/Crafted/Honorific Sacred item + Shrine + Arcane Crystal → add shrine bonuses + Shrine (-1 charge)"

What does this mean exactly. i understand the Shrine and arcane crystal and shine used one charge.

You should always uptier items with Arcane crystal + rune, which gives you improved stats of the next TU level.
The shrine part means, you can add an extra bonus potential to the actual shrine crafting without rerolling the items.
E.g: You use fascinating shrine and get +18 immo bomb on a shield, then u can use the arcane crystal + fascinating shrine to add more fire bonus potential to said rolled item without RE-rolling it.

Thanks. what happens if i use another shrine. i can keep main stats on one shrine then when cube with shrine and cryatal i can get 3 more bonues from the different shrine. or does this only work with the same shrine.

You can only use the ''add shrine bonus potential'' one time. So, lets say you wanna craft a sacred:

any Shrine + sacred -> crafted item, and then, any shrine (or same shrine) + arcane + crafted item -> same crafted item but with bonus potentials.

Wow, i've only been using crystal to uptier, welp time to farm..

Does the quality of the rune dictate anything in this uptier?

You can use any rune. It does not matter, as long as you use a rune with the uptier
