Damage reduction + Crushing blow Q's

So I have a question about Damage reduction and crushing blow.

What is the % of life that crushing blow takes away from the mob and does it work on all mobs?

Also if I get 80% damage reduction on my toon with skills and items (Take druid for example) is there a cap, diminishing returns and if so what are the diminishing returns? Say I have 80% what would it really be with the Diminishing returns?

Damage reduction is capped at 50%, no diminishing returns.

Regarding Crushing Blow, iirc it's 1/4 from a melee hit and 1/8 from missiles on normal monsters. For bosses, it's 1/8 from a melee hit and 1/16 from missiles. CB does not affect enemies that are Physical-immune.

phyisical damage reduction % reduces cb damage.
if you have 100% physical damage reduction, you're immune to crushing blow.
the thing is, the damage taken from normal attacks is only reduced up to 50%. going any higher than that only reduces the cb damage.
