Don't forget the number of classes though.

Except that in case of hots teamplay is much more important. In Dota LoL and HoN you can easily win the game on your own if you're fed enough. But in case of hots you have to run around together to be able to win.

Now its all milking WoW and subtlely killing the Diablo franchise with their "massive update" of a "new" class and cosmetics after 2 years of RoS. Im not a D3 player but if i was one i'd be hella pissed. Truth of the matter is, Blizz is Activision. Need i say more?
tbh I don't think I've ever played a game from Activision. I have always only heard bad stuff about them, and hence never bought a game from them. So I can relate that you're pissed on that company.
But I think that's a general problem of the bigger gaming companies. I mean... why in the fucking hell do I keep coming back to this mod? Because nowadays games are shit and this mod is so beautiful and fantastic AND it has a great comunity as well. There are some indi games worth checking out, but the big games that are promoted all the time are all using the gamers to make only money, and release more shit games afterwards. An endless circle.
But who's to blame for that? The gamers who let game companys do this! If all gamers simply united and stopped buying shit games those companys would go bankrupt and they had to release good games without DLCs, season passes and all that shit they invented. But no, we gamers are still seperated by console gamers and pc gamer who keep telling "we're the PC masterrace hurr durr" and "consoles are more comfortable to use bla bla". That's the only reason why consoles do exist, even though a pc can do the exact same for a cheaper price. It's only to split the gamer comunity so we gamers won't go against the bullshit the gaming companies pull on us.
If it wasn't for steam who foster indi games, we wouldn't get many good games anymore sadly. Even though steam does the same shit as activision, they at least try to release some good games. (I know I know, the indi game companies make nearly no profit even though they are the ones who are creating the games. But at least they are made public that way, so future games from them will have a reputation already so they may grow more and don't release shit games. At least that's what I'm hoping for.)
