What are the best builds for killing Astrogha in terms of speed and difficulty? I did it with my melee sorc just a while ago with wyrd and I don't think I want to use that method for farming a better charm. On a side note, what gear can you suggest for a fire sorc? What's the better choice between fire/cold and fire/light sorc? I was thinking of simply respeccing to caster for this uber.

Any caster build that can get up to or near the -170% enemy res for your element and have good cast rate wth some summons to keep the darklings distracted.
Creep staff funeral pyre necro
Thunderstone Sorc (might be weaker now but used to 1-shot)
Mind flay paladin (will clear path of darklings, so watch out for death strike)
Flamestrike Sorc
Limpet or bombsin (electro field or immolation or nova bombs) with phasebomb and ix rw sin shield for summons
Rain of fire Druid might be decent
Or you can just be op barb like aerial did by killing Astro in about two seconds before he was even able to move after spawning (check the ladder challenge thread for video)

Time to figure out how to Fire Sorc. And I didn't find the the video you were talking about, but I did see the Astrogha ladder challenge. Dead in less than 2 minutes, and in melee even.
