Melee sorc viabillity

How viable are melee sorcs? been trying to come up with a skill tree planner and such for one but i cant figure out what's best for end game and such anyone can help? also i guess its a dex dump for stats

Same question. I tried a melee sorc this ladder and... failed miserably :microwave:

it can work but isnt that good had one last ladder with endgame gear got bored pretty fast

i guess you guys had trouble surviving ( the damage is good no matter what build you go ) , so i would suggest :

- MO the weapon with LOSIM (sorcs attack very fast with warp blades so they are able to leech so nice) , MO the caracter orb with rubys + apples (LOSIM and Leech)
- get an amulet with flat life (arround 400) and ctc Hymn (MORE Losim)
- pick lighning tree and smax Warp Armor (TCD - defence and avoid) - get a combo with Poison and smax vengefull power - damage boost , damage reduction
- activate Nova Charge and Hive to boost your stats and spread some more damage
- smax and use Moonstrike - MOAR HP - always keep that buff active even if it won't be your main attack
- smax Baneblade ofc .
- instant heal with moon symbols
- equip gear with high defence and defensive stats/skills ( few examples : armors : TU Jitan Kamon ->Erawan RW-> Hellfire Plate RW-> Natasha's legacy / any SU Ceremonial armour ; SU Lachdanan's Visage (Deathlord Oskill) , Cauldron RW (helm -> 20% ctc miasma - slows opponents) ; weapon : Khani RW (always keep on switch for Thunderslam Oskill)
- invest stats into dexterity and aim for max chance to block (75% )
- smax your resistances to feel less pain from spells

you can't fail (-:

for it to be less boring i would suggest going for lots of elemental procs

who said anything about lightning/cold ? the thread is about melee sorc viability .read the thread name and first post .

I answered a question, the reason why it isn't as "viable" and why not a lot of people play it is because the existence of lightning/cold sorc. People want easy farmers and like to pick the first guide they find and follow it. which is a shame

The amount of lightning/cold sorceress players has increased a lot after the guide came out. This makes melee sorc even more underplayed, I have yet to see a decent melee sorc this ladder, or even a bad one. Is it really hard to understand the meaning of sentences or do you have to look into the words themselves?
