I haven't used mercs past normal mode in this mod.
I have since stopped playing this spinoff of median xl by Laz. I play a different mod now. You can reach me on discord any time @ nugwa

I prefer Shapesifer from A2. He can survive some "very hard" places like Viz-jun, Fauztinville and "hard" locs. Scosglen its hard for my merc. Also I tried to use cold merc for freez. But its not effective I think.

A2 Shapesifter Merc one of the tankiest options btw and great sustain and damage, plus he holds up well in "very hard" zones like Viz-jun and Fauztinville. If you're playing a melee build, this one synergizes well. What build are you running actually?

^ The guide is Malice Necromancer... and mercs are useless end-game, they, especially ranger/priestess are only good for leveling some slower builds.

Hello. I am new here. Verry nice your post but i dont understand one thing: you say a honorific is better like rune word Aiwass because regen in honorific is 150. Is true, in honorific you can put 150 life regeneration but no mana regeneration. I Aiwass you have 10 mana regeneration who is better like nothing (or life regenaration and mana regeneration is same thing?).

No he said regen is THAT important to the point a runeword with max res barely competes with the slot. Although nothing stops crafting regen on them either, so it's merely 75 life regen difference.
