I am enjoying this mod with your guide in SP, and I have some questions about this build.

1. What cycle is the best for tldr 2h barb?

2. I'm stuck in Uldyssian currently. Your Youtube video is different with this version i think. Any tips about gear or control?

My gear: Yaggai's labrys, Royal circlet, Crafted Armor, Gloves, and belt, Knight's grace, Dyers eye Amulet, Earth rouser and Ripstar ring.

thx for answering.

You are correct that uldyssian was changed couple of patches ago. It will be very tough as melee. Defense also doesn't work well in this fight after changes.
Ideally you'd wanna roll overkill skill and block uberskill for this fight, cratf high phys damage balanced axe. That'd be my pick.
Or some new memes with poison, that single target poison skill could work.
But with least amount of gear changing, use same build that runs overkill+wolf stance.

As for cycles, if you really wanna minmax it? I'd probably stack life and vitality, since we are maxing that out. If you play variant with max strength for damage, then more strength.

Btw, I'm continuing my barb with screaming eagle, bear tank, and I have to say it works significantly better in early ubers already.
Leveling not that much, phys is prolly better, as its comfortable to go through game with life leech.
But at level 110, killing first enemies like Jitan, Akarat, they die way faster than maxed wolf stance + t4 labrys.
Also character is tankier, that -35% enemy damage from screaming eagle adds up, especially against physical enemies that are already weakened by bear stance damage reduction. You can comfortably play with even 200k defense, no need to upgrade gear to max the armors to reach high value, as it is highly advised to do if you play standard build.

Akarat is nice benchmark. Shit gear, not even all T4, amulet 0 skills, akarat dies in literally 1s, instantly blasted. Where with labrys this wasn't that trivial, you needed upgrades and it barely died at that stage, almost outhealing your attack.
You also destroy treewarden guys in jungle right after you enter it first time, about as fast as labrys build at level 125 with all gear and charms from that stage.

I have Ophiophagus and Griefbringer. I saw other Youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxcRh7aui4Q&t=264s) and found that Edyrem absorbs poison. I determine to change gear to Griefbringer with Overkill + Wolf stance build for Ulddy. thanks!!

(I'm not good at English. I tended to ask what cycle is proper. Vitality cycle looks good.)

Interesting note about whirpool oskill - adds magic damage, which unlocks magic potion of screaming eagle for free.

Is that necessary though? The damage without magic part up to the point which I've reached (115 so far) is more than enough, later it will be easy to get a magic rune.

Just a side note. Buit whirpool seems to be doing quite insane multihit. I can 1 shot avatars in kalimgrad with it.
Not sure what happened, maybe some tweaks to its aoe (according to patch notes), did something to its multihit pattern. It seems to be competitive in dps to our normal skills, just standing and using it every 1s vs single target. You can also throw in icebursts in between.
Need to test it properly on some non-random mod boss, so no shenk or gris that roll magic mod and their ehp can vary between tests. I'll check on andariel and compare kills with same gear. Pure iceburst, stormblast and whirpool.

If we replaced our aoe (dethgaze) with whirpool, saves some points, maybe there would be merit in using 20pt fotress? Whirpool clears aoe insane, fortress finishes off stragglers. Stacked fortress is also good vs single target, should boost single target dps. And finally it is amazing utility vs certain bosses that run away or just are exceptionally anit-melee.

It is quite interesting, thers lot of potential tweaks this build can use. Mainly because all damage comes from one skill.

Btw crafting level 25 banish on striking on weapon should be huge damage upgrade, as level 25 banish = level 25 screaming eagle in terms of values.
So if you have let's say slvl 50 screaming eagle, if you add level 25 banish proc on top of it, that increases damage by 50%.

If you're going melee I would get the on-melee version of banish, it's lvl 40 with 12% proc rate.

As for whirlpool, I noticed the same thing. I rolled a whirlpool nagisin and I'm loving it right now. Only level 50 but it's working great, I 2-shot norm Baal. I can't seem to tell if it actually multi-hits though... The damage comes in a big burst with each "pulse" of the skill, but if you watch the enemy life bars there is no visible multi-hits. NextDelay would have to be 0, which I'm sure is gonna get fixed shortly.

It has to multihit beucase my build deals no damage otherwise. It is only screaming eagle buff multiplied by amount of hits.

As for banish on attack, issue with this is, you can't roll this on throwing axes it is melee only, and you need main hand throwing axe in order to use screaming eagle.
It would work with switch setup, switch to long duration screaming eagle with nihs, and then back to your dps weapons. Doable vs big bosses, but too annoying vs normal clear.

edit: damn fortress idea not really viable because it locks off throwing skills

Ah that's lame it doesn't count as a 1h melee weapon also lol. But I guess it makes sense. Fortress would be a good supplement to non-throwing build (i.e. whirlpool :-D)

the pulse means it's multihitting with next delay. thats what ND is for, or else you'd hit 25x per second in the whirlpool instead of once every 3 or 4 frames (6x per second) or whatever it is.
