Run around at certain distance and use fortress. Not too far becaus he jumps, not too close because you get meleed. Move to dodge baelfire.
Lion + lion helm.
Switch with slows target, tu axe is ok, but better something with at least 25% (boss slow cap). It lasts 30s, can't be overwritten if you switch to 0 slow main hand. So thats viable strat, switch for lets say LO runeword in random weapon for fortress to slow him, every 20-30s.
Using better weapon than TU labrys helps, but isn't necessary.

Eth axe + shaad rw would be neat.

My merc is using some random shit, TU4 great sword, i recently put quarak's will because it dropped, but i didn't really use merc much in 120 runs, bit of duncraig.
Gloves same as me, some random rare belt and boots, chest tu4 ring mail, amulet rare +3, helm some set +2 skill barb helm, didnt bother with yul rw.

As for my offhand i use: random crafted axe with motw, and random crafted sword with colosseum.

I don't use decent ones thats the prob, crafted like 10, picked 5 and thats it.
You want something like 5 all stats 15 ias or fhr, maybe some life? or ones with more stats, 10+ vit.
Multiple good stats that enhance your build at same time.

Not that great, defense is nice, but for example life per character level isn't affected by %life stats (ancient blood), so it isn't that good.
300 zakarum damage definitely worth it for running khralimgrad
