There isn't much to it, you use shrines on a rare sacred labrys until you hit a good (250+) max damage roll, some ED (preferably close to the 200% cap post MOs/lucky) and then maybe a proc too

Probably worth mentioning that we can upgrade Weapon switch with this shield (+3 more Nih too) with enough dex and that offhand Axe should be crafted with Abandoned shrine for extra dex.

Yeah but you need to find specific set, and tu blade also has bonus damage.
I prefere utility of colosseum oskill for 2nd weapon, debuff is massive and helps vs some bosses, also useful for teleporting , doesn't share cooldown with jitans gate.

About that set btw, chest + belt combo is very good, adds good procs and lot of strength, if you find them, worth keeping and using. It is quite big upgrade from kra + whatever belt you have, vs bosses that require dps.

Ok, I did not understand that this was done with Shrines. I still have never used one and don't know what I'm doing at all.

Got a headsman to drop is it worth using with this setup? What shield should I shoot for if so? Still using TU Labrys at lvl 122

I wouldn't it was nerfed, you miss out on str bonus damage (lower for 1h) and no thunderfury proc.
Maybe with gladiators dominance, but then you need dex crafts and sigs.

I was struggling with Jday, but watched your video, adjusted merc, cought Bloodlust buff in cow level, grabbed prepared poison shrine and completed Jday upgrade effortlessly. What a great guide, really. Thank you again.
