Is Xazax actually difficult ? I’ve done Vizjun, Astrogha and Yshari in the 125 range. Always had issues on this guy.

He's basically a DPS check. He's a decent indicator of how your build is doing, damage-wise, when you get to the 125 range. I wouldn't say he's actually difficult, but it's probably the first legit test, along with Belial.

Err.. I'd rather put Belial in the "Eyesight check" category, I've never been able just to spot the guy. Maybe Phalanx's aoe helps me this time, unless he can sneak between the arrows...

It does, if you don't have the AOE to passively clear out the illusions, then you are basically left with either killing each illusion at a time or to specifically focus Belial at all times, which obviously gets progressively harder over time. It is significantly easier than Xazax though.

I killed Xazax 5 times before getting a +2 ama. It wasn’t hard at all. In my case, it was actually better to spellbind the adds to get more time to attack. Spraying Phalanx was actually better than aiming for the perfect line.

I'm interested in your thoughts on pros and cons for this as my first crafted sacred reflex, whilst I rework a better. Do you recommend any fine-tuning in play style to offset its weak points? PS factor in I don't play at the level of you guys, from watching some of Wulf's vid's i can see I have MUCH slower response times

Amazon is one of the easier ones to do KOS with because of the movement speed. You can also always spam edyrems/fire elementals and get high FCR to cast them faster. Summon 1-2 in front of you, run, summon, run.
The boss is really easy, dies in 2-3 phalanxes and really squishy.

I ran the uber 7 times for a +2zon charm. 4/7 were success runs. Rest were fails (killed on bridge) and had to reset.
