Had to stop & reassess the build guide at lvl 22 after struggling to kill Radament while wearing twink TUs. Not sure if this guide is outdated, but MAN this Stampede skill is pretty trash

It is not trash, it is "you" that's problem. You can also respec at akara into snake stance max + 1 point into stampede at lvl 16 and proceed to get another respec at 25 going for wolf stance

ironically, twinking is probably your issue. as with most weapon builds, t1 phys weapons are not really good enough to clear act 2 without some kind of flat damage

white throwing axe, 1pt eagle stance, 2pt overkill
or max lion stance, or max snake stance, and respec out after meph

IMO there is no point of speccing out of snake stance before level 50, the last level where respec is free and also the level where you can max wolf stance. Even then I spec into EQ barb with

Stampede's delay doesn't bode well for fast leveling, it only shines in rifts with actual enemy density and where you need to kill as many of them per planck time.

It is the best option for fast leveling on ladder start as barbarian, why is delay that oneshot 90% content before labs (not necrobots (you have to throw aiming at the end of screen to not spread axes too much), scosglen archers, scosglen tree, archers) called "not fast leveling"? For labs you respec into different build or keep playing with medium speed on labs and T9/10 slower speed

Your lab brain is showing though, since I explicitly said about speccing properly by the time of the first rift.

Median developers created notarmory that allows you to check builds of another players/timers

If you consider looking at it, you may spot the difference between your statement and the truth that it's the fastest way of lvling in which we consider ACTS because of ladder start

Twinking definitely wasn't the issue, it's the mechanics & dmg of Stampede during the leveling phase. It's just outright bad relative to the options that other classes have during this same phase of the game. Immediately after writing my first comment I abandoned the build & rolled a generic Mindflay paladin to remind myself what a good leveling setup feels like.

Stampede barbarian is the fastest class on ladder start for baal kill/charms up to 125-130 lvl where light sorc takes over (she falls off in labs without gear) and yet here we are with posts saying this does not damage, it is bad etc. Psionic assassin would be ideal but without scrolls i think the build lose too much power
