Well, going with fire you won't have very good meatshields and StF. Currently my elementals have > 50K life IIRC and rarely die, even with 14K life and half million defence i still need them to tank in many areas.
Sure, you get firedance and flamestrike, also some life from living flame but...

in inventory, luckied with oil and good jewels - level and SD is approx the same level as frozen sphere/thunderstone (just a little less pierce) - still not so outdamages other spells around. It probably can be most damaging stationary target spell, but you won't have enough mana to cast it (drains 20K mana in 2 seconds or so).
So far best stationary target damage spell is abyss, just it is so hard to target (esp. on desynced servers). Second one is probably stormfront.
This sorc has very good crowd cleaning spells (fautzt, bremm....), you just run/blink and everything dies around; but nothing really good for single target. Get another class (or go melee maybe)?

you could use this combo to spam Firedance with 0 Cooldown and have an insane damage boost all the time.
I have almost perfect Ritualist, just need to find Lorekeeper for sale and will test this combo
