I have a problem with this build. I dont have enough str and dex to wear all my items unless i pop Dragonknight. So when i join a game, change act, die or the buff comes off, im pretty much naked. I have to rebuff but my stats are not updated unless i un-equip and re-equip back in item. This is not very enjoyable. Is this normal ? Im i doing something wrong there?

You don't actually need to un-equip or re-equip your items. Just switch weapons twice by pressing W. That way your items are re-equiped automatically.

I'm loving the playstyle of this build but severely lacking damage for where I feel I should be at. I cant work out if it's because I have done something wrong with my gear, if I don't have enough energy (perhaps too much strength at this point and should have stayed at tu3?), etc etc. I also easily get CREAMED by being out of position, although I think that's a general paladin thing until blessed life helps out.

I leveled the character as sumodin and switched around 108-109, using mostly TUs. Looking at the guide it seems reasonable to start crafting if I start finding bases, but should I really be struggling at this point still in TUs?

I'm halfway through MOing stuff, but it feels like maybe that can't make up for the problem that I'm having. Is it just a matter of get through to 115, start farming shrines and crafting some gear with -fire res on it and increasing damage that way, or is there something glaring that I'm missing in the short term?

As an example, Sunless Sea is a hell of a grind at the moment, I have to take it EXTREMELY slow or I just get crushed. How much defense are people sitting at around this level, and how much difference does it make? Also, I have no chance at all to kill akarat in time at the moment.

Last season I played xbow necro primarily and barb, and while I enjoy this character's playstyle a lot more the damage difference feels really apparent at the moment... I'm hoping it's a pebcak issue that I can fix!

But most important: on your jewelry at this point pierce>spell damage>=skill>EF. With average pierce rolls you can get 20 on your 2 rings + amulet.

Atm you have 28 fire pierce. With 35 fire res from mobs on hell you are dealing 0.93x of your screen damage. with 40 pierce more, what is obtainable easy with above items you can get to 1.33x screen damage.

Another option: Go Shadow Influence with Euphoria for now and get your speed breakpoints with socketables and MOs

do i need a specific EF cap like a neutraldin? like 430 EF ?

SD synergy caps out at around 450 with high enough EF and total energy, so just stack EF as much as you can. 400-500 is a decent amount. Still, don't go out of your way to sacrifice SD for EF. You need a healthy amount of them all.

Here's my NotArmory from my 140 a couple of seasons ago. Build was a strong boss killer and a medium farmer. Good survivability/damage but clear spear is just decent, not great. Fun build though, a bit gear dependent.
