All you need to do as the guide writer is click the Quote button at the bottom right of the post and copy/paste the whole template with code. Once you have that in your own "Create New Guide" post, you can go through and edit and fill in all of the sections/colors/pictures. If you're working on drafts of the guide, make sure you save it every time, then you can go back later and load the most recently saved draft and continue.
This version is for miniguide setups -- quick write-ups for a build that doesn't need too much explanation or for unique/niche showcase builds that you want to share with the community.

Character/Build Title
Select a comfortable color theme for your build, makes the guide look visually nicer (making a fire caster? think about using orange and red) Do not use colors that are too hard to see on the black/gray background of the forum. Make it easy to read.
Introduction
Introduce the inspiration or background for your build, what makes it unique or stand out or be better than other builds.
Pros
Few positives to the build without describing every detail.

-
Cons
Few negatives or downsides, but also explain how it can be worked around or neutralized.
-example: This build has low defense, but makes up for it with high avoid and block

Describe how to allocate your skill points for what you prefer/found to be most effective. (Do not list all the pre-requisites, it's understood that you need to put a point in the lvl 1 skill to max the level 24 skill.)

Gameplay
Describe how to play the character/build. Is there a specific buff/summoning sequence you need? Do you have to skill swap from crowd control to damage to debuff? Do you have to position yourself in a specific way to do the best damage?
Mid-Game
Describe your transition to and through mid-game (MID-GAME IS NOT TERROR DIFFICULTY. Mid-game is subjective to your character. When do you need to start upgrading gear to be comfortable? Some things have an earlier mid-game point than others due to progression issues, whereas other characters can use early game setups all the way through lvl 120 or higher. Generally, you'll be looking at this point around Terror Act 5/Hell Act 1 when you can access your Ennead and Uberskills and begin your first uber charms.

Stats
Once you start picking up early charms, stats may become easier to obtain, so keep that in mind to start maximizing output (example: casters may need less stats in strength/dexterity and can spend more points in energy for spell damage/energy factor)

Describe how to allocate your skill points for what you prefer/found to be most effective. (Do not list all the pre-requisites, it's understood that you need to put a point in the lvl 1 skill to max the level 24 skill. Make sure to be aware of writing extra skills in from your uberskills/reward skills, or if you've changed early game skills to put more points in your uber skills. (example: We maxed x skill in early game, but now only need 10 points in it and can use the extra points in other places)

Gameplay
Describe how to play the character/build and any changes you've made in the transition from early to mid-game setup. Do you have new buffs/morphs? Any new oskills from new gear? Adjustments to your build with skill point and stat arrangement?
End Game
Describe your build with most/all charms/ubers completed and how to fully optimize the setup. Generally, you'll be lvl 135+ and be looking to fully min-max. (just don't be stupid and say, get 30x UMOs and xis runes. Be somewhat reasonable for solo players to have reachable goals without having to rely on trading if they don't want to.)

Keep in mind that most charms and some available skills/gear, you get a lot of free stats. Optimize as best as possible, or list separate setups for full damage vs balanced between surviving and damage? What works best for this build?

Gameplay
Describe how to play the character/build to its full potential. With end-game setups, what is available to enhance your buffs/positioning/skill swapping? Has this changed as you upgraded? Do you have to approach single-target bosses differently than mass farming?
