You don't use bane for farming, it's mainly for bosses/ubers and if you're having damage issues for whatever reason.

Sacrificing points in embalming isnt a great idea except for farming if your character survives i guess, but hey you can play/build how you like it

Why is deadly strike not useable ?
Having to craft less good jewels is always nice imo.

Looks like a good all-rounder but if you gonna farm 6 earth runes why not make a xis instead ? I will give it a try anyways if i get my hands on 6 earth runes.

so embalming works great. Maybe i gonna Change it later since u struggle on skill Points in this Saison.. D:

i just tried it again.. deathlord points dont increase your defense in endgame. its capped at some random value.
try a beladonna and dont put a point in deathpact and then put points in deathlord.. nothing changes.
thats a lot of skillpoints you can put in deathpact then..
and 20 targets is not enough in dunc / fautz for parasite. But as i rely on the punisher procs i need as many strikes as i can get.

and i dunno, if i have unlimited funds ill try out the all physical dmg, but the punishers oneshoot necrobots which are the most time consuming mobs to kill usually. i can now just attack 2-3 times in a full screen of enemies in fautz and just walk on and everything dies behind me..

i maxed out deathpact btw for maximum phys dmg for leech.. 1pt in dragonfire and some for ias in rhatmas for ias cap. will probably reskill when gear is mostly finished. hunting for those damn trophies now ^^

for mf i do p8 duncraig runs or up to p4 fautz, but thats kind of a pain ^^

I gonna try this, less points in one skill would give me some positive boosts, but anyway i dont really need deathpact. I was fine as fk last saison and there wasnt even that skill

The thing about going for 1-point rathma's is, Deadly Strike comes after EWD in the calculation, here's a example:

Assume 500 avg flat damage from wathever sources.
I will take the 1700 EWD my necro has with 1 point in death pact. (without BL/MOTW from merc)
1-point rathma so only 5 DS from it.

Here's the order it's calculated:
1: Ethereal Bonus (50% base damage on weapon)
2: %Enhanced Damage (%ED)
3: +Flat Damage.
4: %Physical Damage, this includes %EWD from items, %damage from skills / passives and buffs and str/dex factor, which are all ADDED up into one big multiplier (%dmg = %EWD + %physdmg + %dex/strbonus)
5: Deadly Strike (if it rolls successfully, x2 all damage up until this point)
6: %Conversion is applied.
7: +Flat elemental damage from weapon/gear/skills.
8: %WDM of skill used.

If you add let's say 15 points in Death Pact that's 60 EWD which would give:
9300 avg damage, 9765 with 1-Point Rathma's Chosen.

If you add 15 points in Rathma's Chosen that's 5+14DS which would give:
10710 avg damage.

Let me know if i fucked up the math.

Your math is correct at first glance. I think purely from that rhatma is more effective.
here are some questions:

1. do we know if DS works on every parasite / carnage hit? it should, right?
2. You seem to forget that death pact also gives you around 5k def per point. Even more if you use dragonfire oil. thats over 100k easily.
3. Where would dragon fire oil dmg be calculated in this. its "7: +Flat elemental damage from weapon/gear/skills.", right?

I reskilled and maxed out embalming, death pact, death ward and parasite. I dont need attack speed (1jewel ..). Got 9 points left to spend.
12-14k carnage dmg (bear in mind i use tzeench) and 750k def.
Dragonfire oil (would also add ~70k def or so) or rhatma? im really unsure.
If i cant decide i just put it in famine for walk speed

1. AFAIK it does.

2. You should already have good enough Defense for farming.
3. Yes, for Parasite it's 70% WDM, so take how much +Flat Elemental Damage you have and multiply by 0,7.

You should do the math for how much fire damage you would need for Dragonfire Oil to be better than Rathma's, if i had to guess given you have lower physical damage Dragonfire Oil would probably be better, imo you should've maxed Dragonfire Oil before Death Pact.
